CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65

RETAILER OBLIGATIONS REGARDING CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65

Certain products for sale in this catalog are subject to labeling requirements under California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, more commonly known as “Proposition 65” or “Prop 65.”  Loyd's Training Solutions has invested significant resources and effort into ensuring compliance with Prop 65 and expects that any purchasers of our products who intend to sell, directly or indirectly, into California will comply with all obligations of Prop 65.  This page discusses the resources Loyd's Training Solutions provides to its customers to facilitate those efforts.

What is Prop 65?  Prop 65 is a consumer “right to know” law that applies to businesses that sell products to California residents. Prop 65 requires businesses to provide “clear and reasonable” warning to California residents about products that contain one of the chemicals on the expansive Prop 65 List. California recently revised the Prop 65 regulations to require more specific warning requirements, including that warning labels, identify the specific chemicals at issue.  More information about Prop 65 is available here:
